US-based BeaconMedaes has introduced a new Series B Outlet Hook Trim Plate, designed to reduce unnecessary loads for medical gas outlets and equipment.
The hook trim plate is an upgrade that provides a solution to a real concern, according to the company, which is part of the Atlas Copco Group.

The company noted that gas outlet reliability is essential to ensure medical gas is consistently provided to patients.
Usually wires and setup items in a hospital’s emergency and standard patient rooms are often draped over flowmeters and vacuum regulators, exposing sterile packages to damage and contamination.
The trim plate, which features a retractable hook, is claimed to simplify set-up without damaging the equipment or medical gas outlet for a reliable service.

The Series B Outlet Hook Trim Plate, which supports up to 15lb, takes the load off medical gas outlets, increasing their longevity and ensuring gas leaks are reduced.
To ensure protection lasts for the lifetime of the product, trim plates are incorporated with biomaster, an additive proven to reduce bacterial and mould growth, during the manufacturing process.
According to the company, the hook trim plate can be installed with any Series B or similar medical gas outlet in new construction facilities or can easily replace existing dress frames.
Brooks said: "The new BeaconMedaes hook plate provides a simple, inexpensive and worry free solution to eliminate unnecessary medical gas leaks.
