Core Sound Imaging’s Studycast Integration Program will be piloted by the Mount Sinai Health System in New York using Us2.ai for analysis, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into the clinical workflow.

The Studycast Integration Program lets users exchange medical images and data with vendors and include AI-generated data in Studycast worksheets and reports. The integration with Us2.ai aims to add the measurement and analysis capabilities of AI.

The analysis data is presented to the user directly within the system’s interface and can be reviewed and applied to the Studycast worksheet and report either selectively, or in full.

Singapore-based Us2.AI aims to improve patient outcomes and expand healthcare access by democratising echocardiograms. It has published findings related to its deep learning technology for echocardiography in The Lancet Digital Health and Nature Communications.

“We have been using the Studycast system to document echocardiograms for more than a decade. This new ability to turn on integration with Us2.ai and evaluate how AI can impact our echo workflow is significant,” said Dr Jeff Bander, Chief of Cardiology at Mount Sinai West.
