Anbio has introduced the Anbio AF-100S fluorescent immunoassay (FIA) solution to assist healthcare professionals in providing better care for their patients.

The handheld point-of-care immunodiagnostic solution provides quick and precise results for various analytes, including enzymes, infectious diseases and hormones.

Its easy-to-use interface enables its usage in various settings while high specificity and sensitivity ensure that patients receive accurate results.

A compact FIA analyser makes it suitable for use in ambulances, emergency rooms, urgent care facilities, as well as private clinics.

It can also process up to 240 tests per hour, thereby making it ideal for high-volume settings.

A lithium battery that powers the analyser can provide up to 800 tests per charge or 20 days of device-off time.

In addition, the analyser features a large colour touchscreen and a user-friendly interface for easy operation.

The AF-100S FIA solution can detect the presence of specific biomolecules in the sample of a patient using fluorescently labelled antigens or antibodies.

If present, the biomolecule binds to the labelled molecules, forming a complex that releases a fluorescent signal.

This signal will be measured and compared to a standard for determining the concentration of the biomolecule in the patient sample.

Anbio chief marketing officer Sa Jiang said: “The Anbio AF-100S is set to transform the field of clinical diagnostics, empowering healthcare providers with a cost-effective and comprehensive solution.”
