Spine technology company Spinal Elements has commercially introduced its Ventana 3D-Printed Interbody portfolio.
The portfolio, which has been launched completely, consists of the Ventana P/T Posterior Lumbar Interbody System, the Ventana L Lateral Lumbar Interbody System, and the Ventana C Anterior Cervical Interbody System.
The Ventana products come with a uniquely designed implant architecture, which enhances bone graft volume and containment through a specialised 3D printing process. It also helps reduce the amount of titanium utilised to enhance radiographic visualisation.
Ventana’s minimalistic radiolucent lattice design boosts the amount of bone graft captured in the device, as well as enhances visualisation at the time of and after the spinal fusion procedure.
This design also serves as a snowshoe, enabling bone graft to encounter the endplates while offering a broad surface to help eliminate implant subsidence.
The company is offering these devices in varying degrees of lordosis for sagittal balance restoration.
