Tempus AI has launched olivia in the US, an app designed for centralising patient healthcare data onto a unified platform that uses AI to provide actionable insights.

Patients can use the app to consolidate electronic health records (EHR), data from digital health devices, or manually uploaded health records onto one unified platform. Olivia then organises the data into a timeline for patients to access healthcare records such as lab results, imaging reports, and hospital or general practitioner visit summaries.

The app can also connect to external resources to further supplement existing health data.

With the app’s AI provision, users can ask questions about their records, summarise their health information, and receive responses informed by their data.

Chicago-based Tempus stated that patients can, for example, ask olivia to summarise their overall health status. By running AI on the data available, the app can generate a summary in response to such questions.

Tempus founder and CEO Eric Lefkofsky commented: “Now, as AI becomes increasingly integrated into healthcare, tools like olivia will be essential in helping patients understand and navigate their care.
