Medical device company Nikkiso America has introduced its DBB-06 Hemodialysis System fitted with a dialysis dose monitor (DDM) in the US.
The DBB-06 Hemodialysis System is intended to address the requirements of the US dialysis clinic ensuring an effective and reliable procedure in a cost-efficient way.

The blood volume monitor (BVM) is a unique feature of the DBB-06 System which assists the clinician in responding to the patient’s hydration status by using a continuous monitoring of the relative blood volume during treatment. The feature requires no additional disposables or cost per treatment.
The BVM has an adaptive feedback feature which allows an automatic change of fluid removal to achieve an improved outcome.
The DBB-06 System also features other aspects including ultrafiltration profiling, ultrapure dialysate, patient blood pressure monitoring and an easy data entry is facilitated by a self-prompting, intuitive touchscreen user interface.
