US-based company GE Healthcare’s IT hiring declined 19.6% in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 25.56% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 25.51% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 3.57% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops GE Healthcare IT hiring in April 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by GE Healthcare, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 91.15% in April 2022, and a 56.17% drop over March 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 3.54% in April 2022, and registered a decline of 63.64%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 2.65% in April 2022, a 62.5% drop from March 2022.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 55.75% share, which marked a 59.35% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 29.2%, registering a 50% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 9.73% share and a 69.44% drop over March 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 5.31% and a month-on-month decline of 45.45%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 49.56% share in April 2022, a 54.47% decline over March 2022. US featured next with a 28.32% share, down 48.39% over the previous month. Israel recorded a 5.31% share, a decline of 45.45% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead GE Healthcare IT hiring activity in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 47.79%, down by 61.15% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 41.59% share, a decline of 57.66% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.96% share, down 47.06% over March 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.65%, recording a month-on-month increase of 50%.
