IT jobs accounted for an 11.66% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in November 2022, registering a decrease of 0.65% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in November 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 58.8% in November 2022, a 26.25% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 18.27% in November 2022, marking a 36.78% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer Support Specialists with a share of 7.64% in November 2022, a 32.35% drop from October 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 1.49% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s medical industry during November 2022 over previous month.
Carl Zeiss posted 80 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered an increase of 33.33% over the previous month, followed by GE Healthcare with 44 jobs and a 10% growth. Danaher with 36 IT jobs and ResMed with 24 jobs, recorded a 14.29% drop and a 4% drop, respectively, while Koninklijke Philips recorded a 57.14% decline with 15 job postings during November 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s medical industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 67.11% share in November 2022, a 35.05% decrease over October 2022. China featured next with a 12.29% share, down 17.78% over the previous month. Australia recorded a 6.64% share, a drop of 16.67% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.79%, down by 38.85% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.58% share, registered a decline of 25.93% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.63% share, down 38.3% over October 2022.
