The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 28.85% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s medical industry during May 2022 over April 2022.
Sonova posted 14 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a drop of 46.15% over the previous month, followed by Intelerad Medical Systems with 7 jobs and a 61.11% drop. em-tec with 6 IT jobs and Danaher with 6 jobs, recorded a 20% growth and a 100% growth, respectively, while Fluidigm recorded a flat growth with 4 job postings during May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75%, down by 25% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 14.29% share, registered a decline of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.71% share, down 33.33% over April 2022.
