US-based company GE Healthcare’s IT hiring declined 1.1% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 3.11% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 19.86% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.17% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops GE Healthcare IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by GE Healthcare, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 82.42% in September 2021, and a 16.56% drop over August 2021, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 6.67% in September 2021, and registered flat growth. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 3.64% in September 2021, a 100% rise from August 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 50.3% share, which marked a 30.25% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 32.73%, registering a 12.5% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 15.76% share and a 52.94% rise over August 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.21% and a month-on-month increase of 100%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 32.12% share in September 2021, a 32.05% decline over August 2021. US featured next with a 30.3% share, up 8.7% over the previous month. China recorded a 15.76% share, a decline of 29.73% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead GE Healthcare IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.79%, down by 37.42% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 33.33% share, a growth of 66.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.27% share, up 200% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.61%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
