Germany-based company Sartorius IT hiring rose 3.7% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.64% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed an 11.25% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.76% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Sartorius IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Sartorius, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 78.95% in September 2021, and a 16.67% drop over August 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 9.47% in September 2021, and registered growth of 50%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 7.37% in September 2021, a 250% rise from August 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Sartorius

North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 41.05% share, which marked an 18.75% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 33.68%, registering a 28% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 21.05% share and a 31.03% drop over August 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 4.21% and a month-on-month increase of 100%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 40% share in September 2021, a 9.52% decline over August 2021. Germany featured next with a 16.84% share, flat growth over the previous month. China recorded an 11.58% share, an increase of 37.5% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Sartorius IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.58%, down by 2.86% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.84% share, a growth of 14.29% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.58% share, down 45% over August 2021.
