The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.57% in January 2022 when compared with December 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 341.94% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s medical industry during January 2022 over December 2022.
Arjo posted 55 IT jobs in January 2022 and registered a rise of 189.47% over the previous month, followed by LumiraDx with 38 jobs and a flat growth. Intelerad Medical Systems with 16 IT jobs and Medtronic with 14 jobs, recorded a 220% growth and a 366.67% growth, respectively, while Sartorius recorded an increase of 250% with 14 job postings during January 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in January 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 81.12%, up by 74.14% from December 2022. Entry Level positions with a 10.44% share, registered an increase of 52.94% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.43% share, up 40% over December 2022.
