Hologic has secured the European CE-Mark for its MyoSure MANUAL device, which is designed to facilitate simple tissue removal procedures in any kind of setting.
MyoSure MANUAL features a fully integrated vacuum that does not require external suction, along with a 1lt saline bag, eliminating the requirement for a controller or additional fluid management equipment.

“The MyoSure MANUAL device is designed to simplify tissue removal procedures in theatre, ambulatory or outpatient settings, requiring minimal set up and no fluid management capital equipment, while offering direct visualisation when used with the MyoSure hysteroscope.”
The new device expands the firm’s range of MyoSure gynecological surgical products, MyoSure, MyoSure REACH, MyoSure XL, and MyoSure LITE.
Hologic offers the complete MyoSure system as a minimally invasive hysteroscopic treatment for women with problematic tissue that does not need cauterisation.
The system is designed for fast and convenient removal of tissues such as various fibroids and polyps that might cause abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB).
