Luciole Medical has acquired German medical device company Spiegelberg from SHS Capital, for an undisclosed sum.
Established in 1986, Spiegelberg offers consumables and specialised devices for neurosurgery.
The company is engaged in the development, manufacturing and distribution of products for cerebrospinal fluid drainage, IAP measurement and intracranial pressure measurement in over 60 countries.
It collaborates with clinics, research institutes and specialists in neurosurgery for developing products to meet patient requirements.
Spiegelberg CEO Stefan Paschko said: “Joining forces with Luciole Medical will allow us to offer an extensive range of truly innovative products to our large and growing network of clinicians, partners and distributors, which will benefit both patients and clinicians and improve neurosurgery outcomes.”
Both entities will combine their product suites, manufacturing and distribution channels to optimise their respective strengths to deliver next-generation brain monitoring devices.
