Titan Medical and India’s Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU), which is being facilitated by PrimeSource MedTech, a medical device and biotechnology consulting company based in Mumbai and New York.

As per the agreement, Apollo will test and evaluate Titan Medical’s Amadeus next-generation robotic surgical technologies.

Amadeus Composer, a surgical system under development, allows surgeons to overcome the constraints of surgical procedures in small to medium spaces.

Amadeus Maestro, a next-generation four-armed robotic surgical system, utilises the Titan True Touch technology to target surgical procedures in large spaces.

Apollo Hospitals Group chairman Prathap Reddy said robotic surgery offers exciting developments in thoracic, abdominal and pelvic surgery.
