Terumo Corporation has agreed to acquire Sequent Medical for $380m.
Of the total, $280m will be paid upon closing of the agreement and the remaining will be paid upon achieving specific commercial and development milestones.
The acquisition will help Terumo to establish and expand its growth in the neurovascular market.
