PieX AI has announced its intent to launch the personalised, on-device AI pendant designed for mental health management.
The product integrates technology with emotional well-being and is designed to offer users ‘advanced’ applications such as AI life coaching and health monitoring while ensuring data privacy.
A mental health tool, PieX pendant leverages the company’s ‘Sensing Technology’ and foundational models, including ‘On-device AI’ and ‘Personalised AI’.
The company noted that the technology embedded in the pendant provides continuous, ‘accurate’ emotion tracking, creating a ‘personalised’ emotion database for every user. This feature allows the AI to become more attuned to the individual’s emotional patterns.
Additionally, the on-device AI ensures that all emotional data and auto-journaled information are processed and stored on the person’s phone. This feature is crucial for user privacy and data security, especially in the times of large language models (LLMs), as it does not require the process of cloud storage and keeps sensitive information on the user’s device.
Through speech tone analysis, the pendant senses and measures stress indicators such as heart rate variability (HRV) and assesses emotional states. This dual approach claims to offer users comprehensive emotional tracking insights.
