By GlobalDataThe compact platform, SENTiNAT 200, has been designed for DNA/RNA extraction, PCR set up and amplification.
It comprises two integrated thermal cyclers, as well as the FastFinder analysis software, and combines automation, throughput and flexibility to adapt to several laboratory needs.
The system can carry out multiparametric analysis of up to 15 viruses in the same run and can process from one up to 48 samples in four hours.
It has an intuitive software that guides the operator through all the instrument setup phases.
Designed to work with STAT-NAT SN200 kits, the SENTiNAT 200 system has a barcode reader for samples and reagents, which helps to minimise human error.
With complete control over the outcomes, the operator can have access to the data that is stored in the cloud from any location and at any time.
The Stat-Nat SN200 kits use freeze-dried technology for long-term stability at room temperature to make the assays strong and to streamline the reagent management in the lab.
Sentinel Diagnostics sales and marketing head Marco Buonaguidi said: “We developed the SENTiNAT 200 and STAT-NAT SN200 kits, all CE-marked, to offer a complete solution, that simplifies the routine activities of virology laboratories, including those dedicated to transplant patient.
“Today, we take a first step on a path that will see us committed to developing new parameters to satisfy the most challenging requests of our clients in molecular diagnostics.”
The company stated that the SENTiNAT 200 and STAT-NAT SN200 kits are CE-IVDR and CE-IVD marked, respectively.
