4WEB Medical commercially introduces new cervical spine plate

The company offers various options for cervical fusion constructs to surgeons.

Orthopaedic implant company 4WEB Medical has commercially introduced its Cervical Spine Plating Solution (CSTS-PS).

The company also intends to broaden its range of cervical products in the fourth quarter of this year, apart from introducing the new cervical plate.

This expansion will include an integrated anchor fixation system and a stand-alone integrated plate.

Offering various options for cervical fusion constructs to surgeons, both products will complement the presently available stand-alone cervical offering.

4WEB Medical spine division vice-president Geoff Bigos said: “By adding the CSTS-PS to 4WEB's existing interbody device offering, the company continues to demonstrate its commitment to investing in further development of a comprehensive cervical portfolio.”

The company is engaged in the development of advanced implants that leverage Truss Implant Technology.

Its focus is on the development of Truss Implant designs for trauma, tumour and patient-specific applications.

The company’s product portfolio consists of the Anterior Spine Truss System, Cervical Spine Truss System, Lateral Spine Truss System, Posterior Spine Truss System, Stand Alone Anterior Spine Truss System and Stand Alone Cervical Spine Truss System.

4WEB Medical president Jessee Hunt said: “The launch of the CSTS-PS is a significant milestone for 4WEB.

“The company's cervical portfolio is currently 4WEB's fastest-growing product line and with the addition of cervical plating, anchor fixation and integrated plates, 4WEB will continue its rapid growth trajectory in 2023 and beyond.”
