ALPINION Medical Systems has introduced the new portable ultrasound diagnostic device, X-CUBE i9.

The device features dual batteries and probe connectors that improve the speed of examinations.

With the flexibility to be ready within one minute, it can operate for 100 hours in standby mode and more than one hour in scan mode using the two batteries.

X-CUBE i9’s dual connector allows easy installation of two types of probes.

It facilitates quick examination in different scenarios such as situations where patient mobility is limited or when scanning multiple body parts is necessary.

Furthermore, the system can be carried easily with its own dedicated cart/carrying bag.

The device is equipped with the X+ MicroView microvascular diagnosis technology that is used in high-performance systems. It also features CUBE Strain technology for analysing heart function.

With real-time needle location visualisation, the Needle Vision Plus feature improves accuracy and stability in ultrasound-guided anaesthesia and nerve block. It also helps enhance diagnosis efficiency through post-processing support after storage.

In addition, the device has a rubber-less integral mould design that helps reduce the damage due to needles.

It also supports a seamless transducer with better durability.

ALPINION CEO Hyun-jong Park said: "Customers have waited for the X-CUBE i9 even before its launching because of their high satisfaction with the image performance. I am expecting various field applications after its launching."
