US-based Cybernet has launched CyberMed Ai3, a new AI-powered PC designed to provide accurate diagnoses and predictive analytics, as well as streamline workflows in healthcare.

The PC is underpinned by NVIDIA’s latest Jetson Orin and RTX 6000 Ada graphics processing units (GPU), enabling CyberMed to process between 275 and 1457 trillion operations per second, and its overall functionality is driven by machine learning and AI inference algorithms.

One of CyberMed’s key features is machine vision, a tool for medical image analysis to detect anomalies and small details in computed tomography (CT) and other types of medical imaging. In addition, the tool can be used to analyse videos in real-time to assist in early warning or anomaly detection during endoscopy or surgical procedures.

CyberMed can also be applied for real-time, AI-based analysis on large datasets, and cross-reference different patient medical record data to assist in developing custom medication for patient-specific needs.

CyberMed is IEC 60601-1 certified - meaning it has met the necessary safety standards for use in medical applications - and is compliant with the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) HIPAA privacy regulation.

Cybernet CEO Hossein Asadi commented: “Cybernet’s new AI-ready system is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of medical environments, ensuring reliability and compliance with the highest medical-grade standards.

“By integrating our cutting-edge technology into healthcare settings, we are not just advancing technology - we are transforming the way healthcare is delivered, making it more effective, personalised, and efficient.”

NVIDIA has had a large presence in healthcare this year, embarking on a range of AI-related partnerships with companies such as GE HealthCare on its SonoSam AI-based ultrasound imaging technology.

NVIDIA's most recent financials reported quarterly revenue of $30bn, up 122% from a year ago.
