Italian medical imaging company Esaote has introduced the new MyLabE80 ultrasound device for complex clinical cases.

MyLabE80, part of the newly introduced E series, is tailored for professionals handling complex clinical cases where diagnostic precision is crucial.

The advanced ultrasound system features AI-powered automation and fusion imaging technology to enhance diagnostic capabilities.

Designed to streamline workflow and improve clinical efficiency, the ultrasound system aims to expedite repetitive tasks and simplify complex procedures, allowing for more comprehensive examinations with highly detailed images.

The device's fusion imaging technology is particularly useful in assessing liver disease and breast lesions.

Esaote's MyLabE80 also offers the Augmented Insight functions found in the MyLabX90, with the option of a conventional or touchscreen control panel.

It is a key addition to Esaote's updated ultrasound scanner range, which includes the MyLabX90, MyLabA70 and MyLabA50.

Esaote Italy marketing director Mariagrazia Bella said: “The agile and fast MyLabE80 and its versatile and mobile advanced features embodies our new vision as part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality healthcare.

“MyLabE80 is designed to adapt to any healthcare environment. With five probe connectors and custom configurations, it is ideal for both routine and advanced examinations.

“The battery offers autonomous scanning at full power, while the modern touch panel simplifies cleaning procedures, ensuring adaptability even in the most demanding environments.”

The device was unveiled at the 51st SIRM Congress 2024 in Milan, an event that brought together three scientific societies in radiology for their first joint congress, entitled The Next Generation.

Earlier this year, Esaote unveiled two new ultrasound systems – MyLabA50 and MyLabA70, designed to perform seamlessly in diverse clinical settings.
