US-based iCardio.ai has partnered with SARC MedIQ to improve ultrasound image interpretation using AI tools for clinicians.
This collaboration is set to integrate iCardio.ai's advanced AI technology with SARC MedIQ's picture archiving and communication system (PACS), aiming to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and speed of ultrasound interpretation.
iCardio.ai CEO Joseph Sokol said: “The leadership at SARC MedIQ is sharp and aggressive, and we are excited to partner with a software company that aligns so well with our mission.
“Artificial intelligence is undoubtedly the next frontier in medicine, and through strategic partnerships like this, we are accelerating this transformation. We believe our technology will empower clinicians, streamline the healthcare journey for patients, and ultimately lead to better patient outcomes.”
The integration of these two technologies is expected to make AI tools more accessible to clinicians, particularly in the field of cardiology.
The collaboration will enhance the quality of echocardiography and introduce new efficiencies that could transform the diagnostic process for ultrasound imaging.
SARC MedIQ CEO Asaad Hakeem said: “By integrating iCardio.ai’s automated AI tools into our PACS system, we are taking a giant leap towards our goal of empowering the healthcare industry with the latest technology.
“This partnership will not only enhance our cloud-based platform’s capabilities but will also provide our users with unparalleled insights and efficiencies in the evaluation and diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions.”
Earlier this year, iCardio.ai and Viz.ai collaborated to advance the rapid detection of aortic stenosis.
iCardio.ai is engaged in developing machine learning and deep learning algorithms for the analysis of ultrasound applications.
SARC MedIQ, which has a presence across Asia, North America, Africa, and Australia, is engaged in delivering advanced, affordable healthcare solutions.
