Luminelle has signed a marketing agreement with the US Women's Health Alliance (USWHA) for its endoscopic system.
As part of the deal, the LUMINELLE SUSTAINE endoscopic system will be supplied to OBGYN medical practices and their patients across more than 1,100 Alliance healthcare practices.
The agreement also enables Luminelle to access more than 5,000 providers in 34 US states.
USWHA president Jack Feltz said: “We champion physicians and patients by bringing the best and latest technology to the office setting. We believe that devices like LUMINELLE are essential to delivering simple and cost-effective diagnosis and treatment options for women.”
The endoscopic system has been developed to easily diagnose and treat multiple uterine and urological conditions.
It uses interchangeable accessories and high‐tech optics to meet the growing requirements of physicians.
The endoscopic system, which serves as an alternative to costly hospital procedures, already received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Luminelle CEO Allison London Brown said: “We have a shared mission in providing better clinical outcomes and cost-effective solutions to gynaecological practices and their patients, which is increasingly important, especially in these economically challenging times.
“We are committed to delivering the USWHA members a lower-cost alternative for physicians to treat patients in their office, and to provide practices the best option for care.”
Luminelle is engaged in the development of cost-effective, point-of-care diagnostic and operative solutions.
