Royal Philips has introduced new AI-enabled solutions for healthcare providers at the medical imaging conference, RSNA 2023, in Chicago, US.

This conference is held between 26 and 29 November 2023.

The new solutions include EPIQ Elite 10.0 and Philips Affiniti ultrasound systems, BlueSeal MR Mobile system and the Philips HealthSuite Imaging PACS solution.

EPIQ Elite 10.0 and Philips Affiniti are the new ultrasound systems that feature a single-user interface integrated with shared transducers and automated tools for reducing complexity and improving user experience.

BlueSeal MR Mobile is claimed to be the world’s first and only mobile MRI system with helium-free operations.

The new 1.5T fully sealed magnet, delivered via a mobile truck, enables the provision of MRI exams to a greater number of patients in diverse locations.

Philips HealthSuite Imaging, a cloud-based next generation of Philips Vue PACS, allows clinicians and radiologists to rapidly adopt new capabilities and enhance operational efficiency.

HealthSuite Imaging on Amazon Web Services provides new capabilities, including integrated reporting, AI-enabled workflow orchestration, and high-speed remote access for diagnostic reading.

Furthermore, the company has unveiled the new end-to-end AI enablement solution, Philips AI Manager, which integrates with a customer's IT infrastructure to assist radiologists in using more than 100 AI applications for evaluation and gaining clinical insights in the radiology workflow.

Philips Precision Diagnosis and Image Guided Therapy CBO Bert van Meurs said: “Philips is teaming up with healthcare providers to optimise workflows so they can spend more time focusing on patients.

“The new innovations we’re unveiling here at RSNA provide a fully integrated AI-enabled diagnostic approach to help improve patient outcomes, optimise workflows and maximise lifetime value for our customers.”

Last month, Phillips and Quilbim collaborated to provide AI-based imaging and reporting solutions for MR prostate examinations.
