Prevounce Health has introduced Pylo OX1-LTE, a new blood oxygen device designed for remote patient monitoring (RPM) programmes.
The pulse oximeter is clinically validated and offers advantages for patients with chronic respiratory conditions and other health scenarios requiring consistent monitoring.
The OX1-LTE’s cellular connectivity allows it to roam on multiple networks, ensuring reliable data transmission even in areas with weak signals.
This feature is particularly beneficial for chronic respiratory patients and those needing heart rate monitoring, including Covid-19 patients. The device is also cost-effective, which supports the expansion of RPM programmes.
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certified and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) cleared, the Pylo OX1-LTE can provide blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate readings with high accuracy.
It features an OLED screen and an ergonomic design for ease of use. Designed to be durable and ready to use straight out of the box, the device requires no configuration, reducing the potential for device failure.
Available for integration with the Prevounce remote care management platform, the OX1-LTE also works with third-party health software through the Pylo cloud API.
Healthcare organisations can customise the device and packaging for a branded patient experience, with Prevounce offering additional services such as inventory management, logistics, and device refurbishment.
