India-based startup Redcliffe Labs has expanded its footprint in the country with the opening of three new diagnostic labs in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The facilities are strategically located in Prayagraj, Agra, and Jhansi.
With the new labs, Redcliffe intends to close the gap that exists in the region between the supply and demand for high-quality diagnostic services.
The new labs are equipped to offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic services, including biochemistry, immunoassays, haematology, and hormones.
These services can be availed by patients conveniently by scheduling home sample collection and through walk-ins.
The burden of non-communicable diseases is rising by 19% in Uttar Pradesh in particular. Acknowledging the necessity to tackle this health issue, Redcliffe has increased its footprint in the region as part of its goal to execute a tier two and beyond approach.
Redcliffe, through the new labs, is expected to cater to the local community and also individuals in surrounding areas.
Currently, the company has more than 21 labs and over 500 collection centres across the state.
Redcliffe's Prayagraj facility in George Town will be headed by MD pathologist Dr Ravi Rani.
Consultant pathologist Dr Priya Jain will oversee the new lab at Shanti Madhuban Plaza, Agra.
In Jhansi, Redcliffe's laboratory in Veerangna Nagar, JDA Colony, will be headed by consultant pathologist Dr Tripti Aggarwal.
Redcliffe medical laboratory director Dr Sohini Sengupta was quoted by APN NEWS as saying: “As we venture into the heart of Uttar Pradesh, a dynamic state pulsating with vitality and home to millions, our dedicated healthcare professionals reaffirm their unwavering commitment to improving lives, transcending geographical boundaries.”
Redcliffe has services in more than 220 cities through a network of over 80 advanced labs. It also has more than 2,000 collection centres powered by home sample collection across India.
