Vibrant Wellness has expanded its functional lab test portfolio with the launch of the new Toxin Genetics Test for personalised detox protocols.

The new test has been developed for evaluating specific genetic biomarkers linked to the metabolic detoxification process of the body.

It will enable healthcare professionals to prepare individualised detoxification plans.

Certain genes are essential for detoxifying the body and abnormalities in these genes can impair the detoxification process.

Several health conditions, such as Parkinson's disease, fibromyalgia, autism, cancer and immune dysfunction syndrome, have been associated with this impairment.

Vibrant Wellness lab director Dr Mervyn Sahud said: “With the Toxin Genetics Lab test, we've made a significant stride in the field of personalised medicine.

“This new tool offers a unique chance for healthcare professionals to not only assess toxic burden but also design effective detoxification protocols based on each individual's unique genetic makeup.”

Vibrant offers lab testing services to health and wellness providers to identify the root causes of patient health issues.

The company also offers functional lab tests for mycotoxins, environmental toxins, heavy metals and PFAS chemicals.

Vibrant Wellness testing leverages 3Dense microarray technology and mass spectrometry for specificity, sensitivity and scalability.

Sahud added: “With the launch of the Toxins Genetics Lab Test, we further affirm our commitment to enable healthcare providers to discover the root of patient health issues.

“Through our precision lab tests, we aim to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy vibrant health and longevity based on testing, not guessing.”
