Vancive Medical Technologies™ will co-exhibit with DUKAL Corporation at the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care® (SAWC) Spring Conference, 24-26 April 2014, at the Gaylord Palms Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
"Exhibiting at SAWC Spring marks the official launch of the BeneHold Absorbent Wound Dressings in the United States and Canada, per our agreement with DUKAL®," said Colleen Ward, vice-president of global marketing. "Our products have been shown to provide considerable benefits compared to traditional moist wound healing dressings and we are excited to bring them to market."
On display will be the BeneHold™ Absorbent Wound Dressing range, which includes TASA™, Thin Absorbent Skin Adhesive™. At only 0.12mm in thickness, TASA has the capacity to manage fluid in excess of traditional thin hydrocolloids. Furthermore, the dressings are transparent and allow for wound site visibility. This in combination with their high fluid management and conformability leads to dressings remaining in place for up to 7 days.
Vancive will also host a breakfast symposium, ‘Changing the Game, Not the Dressing: The New Category of ‘Thin Absorbent’ Skin Adhesive’, on Saturday 26 April 7.30am-9.00am at the Gaylord Hotel in the Naples Ballroom. The results of recent clinical evaluations will be presented by DrKazu Suzuki, DPM, CWS, Medical Director at Tower Wound Care Center, Los Angeles.
The BeneHold Absorbent Wound Dressing range addresses the needs of light to moderately exuding chronic and acute wounds. Products and data will be available at the DUKAL®/Vancive booth #722.
