Coveris Advanced Coatings recently exhibited at Medica 2014 in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Medica attracts specialists from the health care industry and visitors worldwide, who want to discover more about the medical trade.

Coveris exhibited and discussed its medical components from their inspire® range, which is designed for high performance for moist wound dressings, to both the professional and consumer market.

The range includes standard films, foams, laminates, adhesives, ultra thin films, novel highly breathable adhesive systems, new development in infection control and the pattern coated ability.

Coveris’s exhibition stand interested new and current clients, through the company’s 4m tall exhibition panel. The panel displayed the silhouette of an orange man advertising the conversion of films and foams into polyurethane dressings.

Representatives from different areas of Coveris attended, which enabled enquiries from various departments to be dealt with including quality, regulatory, technical, development and commercial queries.

Visitors also discussed plans for the future, investments and joint venture opportunities.

Kevin Schofield, Coveris’s medical market manager said: ‘It never ceases to amaze me what a group of imaginative customers we have.

"Some of the new future developments that we have had presented to us certainly are worthy of the title of advanced wound care dressings."
