Alleima Guru, the generative AI solution of Alleima, enables researchers to develop new hypotheses thanks to instant access to the company’s 60,000 research reports. Reports are generated from 160 years of research. Now, time has come to roll out the project in the organization. “We are all impressed with how good it works”, says Eva Lindh-Ulmgren, Head of Research and Development at the Tube Division at Alleima.
Founded in 1862, Alleima has a long history of research and development. Over the years Alleima has generated an extensive database of 60,000 reports. The idea of creating generative AI solution in Microsoft Azure AI Studio was born to efficiently utilize the information gathered from over a hundred years of research.
In May 2023 the idea was approved by the management team and after close collaboration with Microsoft and KPMG, in December 2023, a prototype of the AI solution was completed.
”Now the project will start sharply and activated in the organization. At the end of August, our superusers will begin their training with Alleima Guru. The next step is to roll it out to all our talented researchers”, says Mathias Johansson, CIO at Alleima.
“As a highly specialized materials technology company, we want to be in the forefront when it comes to new technology. Alleima Guru is our first use case for AI, and now we aim to discover more.” Johansson explains.
