Ginolis has announced it will be introducing the Ginolis Pixie at the AACC Clinical Lab Expo in Chicago, US.
Taking place from 29 July to 2 August, attendees will have a chance to see this innovative machine and ask questions.
The Ginolis Pixie is a standard system for automated optical inspection. It can be configured with two to five servo-driven axis movement and high-speed measurement capabilities, making it suitable for inline and stand-alone solutions.
Measurement applications include difficult-to-measure colours and materials such as glossy, matte and transparent surfaces.
In addition, Pixie provides high production speed measurement and analysis for inline quality inspection. It samples surface topography and intensity up to 2.5kHz at sub-micro level.
This customised, automated solution meets customer specific needs and can be combined with additional motorised stage, pick and place robots or integrated statistical process control (SPC).
Pixie is able to measure a wide variety of materials and colours, including glossy, matte, mirror-like finishes and curved and multi-layered transparent surface. Visual defects such as spots, impurities, scratches, air bubbles, voids and foil continuity are detected.
Ginolis provides a unique combination of flexibility and competence in automation and metrology, as well as tailor-made software and hardware solutions to meet customer specifications.
