Valtronic will open an office in the acclaimed École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) Innovation Park in Switzerland, as part of its Innovation Initiative.
The office will include C-Suite, business development, innovation engineers and space for PhD students and young researchers to work.
As part of their role, the innovation engineers will deal with startup projects and early stage programmes and will allow access to all EPFL laboratories, libraries and classes.
EPFL is Europe’s most cosmopolitan technical university with students, professors and staff from more than 120 nations. A dynamic environment that is open to Switzerland and the world, EPFL is centered on three missions: teaching, research and technology transfer.
EPFL works with an extensive network of partners, including other universities and institutes of technology, developing and emerging countries, secondary schools and colleges, industry and economy, political circles, and the general public to bring about a real impact for society.
Integrated into the heart of a scientific community made up of 300 laboratories and more than 10,000 students, the companies in the park are part of a dynamic campus that is a unique environment for exchanging ideas and knowledge.
